Physiotherapist
During her studies, she had the opportunity to gain experience both in inpatient wards (FN Královské Vinohrady, ÚVN, Fakultní Thomayer’s hospital) and learn about approaches in outpatient physiotherapy for adults and children. A foreign internship in Malta was also very beneficial for Bára.
About Barbora:
Thanks to her many years of athletic training combined with the knowledge she has acquired, she is increasingly aware of how diverse and varied movement is a huge benefit for the human body. She perceives the originality of each individual, to whom she tries to offer individual solutions according to the current situation and needs. That’s why she tries to motivate children and their parents in a playful way so that proper movement can be used in everyday life.
At FYZIOCARE, she focuses on children’s physiotherapy, in which she further expands her knowledge
and skills to support even the smallest in proper development and enjoyment of movement.
Education:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy, 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague (2021-2024)
- 2023 – foreign study internship within the Erasmus + program, focused on ambulatory physiotherapy and cooperation with the Maltese Olympic Committee, 2 months (Malta)
- 2023 – foreign workshop within the 4EU+ program focused on perineal trauma, their prevention and reparation (Milan, Italy)
- 2024 – study internship within the Erasmus + Blended Intensive Programme: International Module on Pediatric Rehabilitation, 5 weeks (Ghent, Belgium)
- Master of Physiotherapy, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague (2024 – present)
